MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Gravity Medical Technology Inc., a developer of next-
generation mechanical thrombectomy technologies, today announced a strategic
relationship with RapidAI to advance connected stroke care across India. The
relationship brings together the Rapid Enterprise™ Platform’s deep clinical AI and care
coordination capabilities with Gravity Medical’s interventional technologies to help care
teams identify patients who may benefit from treatment, coordinate across sites, and
move more efficiently from imaging insight to intervention.

In acute ischemic stroke, care often spans multiple facilities and teams, from initial
imaging and specialist consultation through transfer and thrombectomy. Because a
typical untreated large vessel ischemic stroke can destroy an estimated 1.9 million
neurons each minute, rapid access to clinical information and strong coordination are
critical.

RapidAI analyzes CT imaging and delivers AI-driven results, source images, and
relevant patient information through radiology, mobile, and web-based workflows,
helping clinical teams review cases, communicate, and coordinate complex stroke
cases. For patients selected for intervention, physicians deploy Gravity Medical
Technology's Supernova Stent Retriever and Neutron Aspiration Catheter. Engineered
for precision and excellent trackability, these devices are used to perform mechanical
thrombectomies and retrieve clots -seamlessly connecting imaging insights directly with
clinical intervention.

As part of the collaboration, RapidAI software will be incorporated into Gravity Medical
Technology's GRASSROOT Registry in India to evaluate AI-enabled clinical workflows
at participating academic and tertiary care centers. Planned data collection is expected
to examine door-to-needle and door-to-puncture times, procedural efficiency, and 90-
day functional outcomes as measured by the modified Rankin Scale.
